Brüssel Apartment Le Grand Sablon

The curtains were very thin therefore the light from the street lamp kept us awake during the night. It is a beautiful apartment but did not understand why there was no door on bathroom.

Might be worth noting for people staying there not families that to get to the bedroom / bathrooms you walk through the middle bedroom & bathroom! It was fine for us, but meant we had to really schedule bathroom / bedroom times so that we gave people privacy! Also, we didn't realise prior to booking that the apartment was located in a different location to the booking office - if this is mentioned on the initial website we didn't see it! We were also told the latest check in time was an hour later than it actually was (though they thankfully didn't charge us for this). And there was no mention on the initial website about late check-in times (or I didn't see it), which could have been awkward if we were on the train we had initially booked...

It was unexpected to live in the apartment of 4 levels.

We have to check-out quite early...:-(...

Instructions for heating required in information file. Kettle unuseable due to calcium build-up - suggest providing water filter for use with kettle. Exterior light outside 1st floor bedroom window remained on all night - windows require thicker blockout curtains for sleep. Appears to be water leaking through cracked shower tiles onto bathroom floor and also can hear dripping from bathroom in lower bedroom ceiling.
